Seeds of Change: What’s Inspiring Us

Welcome, Spring!

The weather may still be dancing between snowflakes and sunbursts—chaotic, yes, but full of life and possibility, regardless.

Here’s what we’ve been up to and what’s been guiding us through these uncertain times.

Speaking of possibilities, if you haven’t picked up our book,

Patience & Possibilities, it is a quick, inspirational read.

This book offers a useful perspective that can help you transform
your anxieties into actionable possibilities, providing a guide to
developing and strengthening a patient mindset!
💜

As spring brings fresh inspiration, we’re planting some new seeds of our own—here’s what we’ve been up to!

What We're Reading:

The Next Day: Transitions, Change, and Moving Forward by Melinda French Gates, a philanthropist, businesswoman, and global advocate for women and girls, is a personal reflection rooted in storytelling. Within this piece, Melinda shares her own experiences to highlight the universal lessons about navigating crisis, embracing the unknown, and loosening the confines of perfectionism.

What We're Listening To:

Bon Iver’s album Sable, fABLE. OK, so this album starts with the theme of sad goodbyes, but transitions into the new possibilities that endings can bring. The songwriter, Justin Vernon, is a serious and deep soul and a bard for our time.
With themes of change, coming to crossroads, and community, this album is
a great listen! 😌🎶

What We've Been Watching:

HGTV has become a favorite on some of our screens, especially House Hunters International. Exploring the world through the eyes of couples looking for their home abroad leads to visions of travel and adventure, allowing us to escape to dreamy locations. A lovely gift of relief! 😉

What We've Been Doing:

We have been busy developing a new digital course for YOU, dear ones! This summer, we will launch our course, Picking up the Pieces and Moving on. In the course, we embrace the philosophy of Kintsugi, the ancient Japanese art of beautiful repair. Just like broken pottery is healed with golden threads, you will be guided through a journey of self-discovery and empowerment to integrate changes that are unfolding within and outside you.

We are excited to begin beta-testing a mini version of this course in an online format. Click here to find out more, and please email us here with any questions!

Here's a 90-second video that we prepared while applying for a grant with
Melinda French-Gates' Pivotal Ventures Organization.

If you would like a sneak peek at the course,
here is a fun exercise to help you embody your strengths!

Listen in while Dr. Michael Marks shares his own decades-long journey supporting the mental health of those who sacrifice their own lives in order to save others.

In this episode, Michael Marks distills what he’s learned about the women, men— the culture of first responders from veterans of foreign wars to the everyday civilian heroes who work in paramilitary cultures— the fire, police and EMT’s who put themselves into the fray between dire circumstances, their own safety— while supporting themselves and their families.

To see how Dr. Marks' resiliency tools help people in the field, check out this compelling video that he recently released. It will tug at your heart
and fill it with gratitude.

Dear ones, as the year winds down and we all get swept into the rush of the holiday season, we want to make sure you pause for a little self-care and reflection. It's a tender time to check in with yourself, breathe deeply and create small moments of calm amid the bustle. With that in mind, we've gathered a few ideas, inspirations, and offerings to help you nurture and entertain your spirit as we close out the year. ~Andrea & Barbara What We're Reading: Upon recommendation, we’re looking...

Whew! We have been hard at work with the launch of our first digital course released last month. We hope you are among the first group who got a spot! It's definitely time to refresh and sharpen the saw to get our creativity playing again! As well as setting some time away for a little relaxation and recreation. While pink hearts lined the aisles everywhere last month, we are ready to practice some self-love as well as some random acts of kindness - because we all know the world needs more of...

“Celebrate endings-for they precede new beginnings.” ~Jonathan Hui Happy New... Endings? Endings. The word itself can feel heavy—tinged with sadness, nostalgia, and the quiet ache of letting go. We often think of endings as losses: the close of a relationship, a job, a season of life. Yet every beginning we celebrate, like the arrival of a New Year, is only possible because something else has gently come to a close. We eagerly welcome fresh calendars, clean slates, and hopeful resolutions,...
